This project creates a well-organized, lossless (or high-quality) music collection with accurate metadata, cover art, and smooth integration into media server software (e.g., Jellyfin, Plex, Navidrome, or Ampache). It includes sourcing, editing, organizing, and enabling playback across devices.

Tagging Standards

Use the software Picard by MusicBrainz to do all tagging.
If the song does not exist, fill out the information to the best of your ability using the MusicBrainz standard.

QA Checklist

  • Correct metadata for each album (year, artist, genre, track order)

  • File formats match standard (e.g., FLAC for archive, MP3 for mobile)
